Terms of Use
Last updated: May 11, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Vidnabber ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Service. We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on this page, and continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
2. What Vidnabber Provides
Vidnabber is a technical tool that analyzes supported public media URLs and displays available format options when a compatible public source exposes them. Vidnabber does not create, upload, host, store, sell, endorse, or control third-party media content. Availability, quality, formats, file names, metadata, and access are controlled by the source platform, browser, network, and the public URL submitted by the user.
3. User Responsibility and Lawful Use
You are solely responsible for each URL you submit, each file you access, and how you use any resulting media. You represent and warrant that you will use the Service only for content that you own, have permission to use, or may lawfully access, copy, store, download, process, or share.
- Do not use Vidnabber to infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contract, platform, or other third-party rights.
- Do not download, copy, redistribute, sell, repost, or modify content unless you have all required rights and permissions.
- Do not use the Service for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, harassing, exploitative, defamatory, obscene, or privacy-invasive activity.
- Do not submit URLs containing personal data, private media, confidential information, illegal content, or content you are not authorized to access.
- Do not use Vidnabber for commercial redistribution or public display of third-party media unless you have clear permission from the rights holder.
4. No Circumvention or Restricted Access
Vidnabber is intended for public links only. You must not use the Service to bypass or attempt to bypass paywalls, subscriptions, logins, private accounts, age gates, geographic restrictions, DRM, encryption, technical protection measures, access controls, rate limits, robots restrictions, or platform security. If a content provider prohibits saving, copying, or downloading its media, you are responsible for following that provider's rules.
5. Third-Party Platforms and Content
Third-party platform names, links, logos, trademarks, and media belong to their respective owners. Vidnabber is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, approved by, or endorsed by any third-party platform unless expressly stated. Your use of third-party content and platforms is governed by their own terms, policies, copyright rules, community rules, and technical restrictions. Platform changes may break or limit features at any time.
6. Prohibited Uses
- Mass scraping, automated harvesting, excessive requests, bot traffic, credential stuffing, or attempts to overload the Service.
- Reverse engineering, probing, scanning, vulnerability testing, bypassing security, or avoiding rate limits without written permission.
- Using Vidnabber to assist copyright infringement, piracy, unauthorized streaming capture, illegal copying, counterfeit activity, or rights abuse.
- Uploading, submitting, or distributing malware, phishing links, spam, fraudulent material, or content that violates applicable law.
- Removing, obscuring, or altering copyright notices, attribution, watermarks, creator identifiers, rights-management information, or platform notices.
- Misrepresenting Vidnabber as an official tool of any third-party platform, rights holder, creator, or brand.
- Using the Service in a way that could expose Vidnabber, its operators, hosting providers, ad partners, payment providers, or users to legal, security, or reputational risk.
7. Service Discretion and Enforcement
We may, at any time and without notice, refuse to analyze a URL, block a source, remove or disable a feature, limit downloads, restrict traffic, add verification, suspend access, preserve or review technical logs, report abuse, or take other protective action if we believe use may be unlawful, abusive, unsafe, infringing, inconsistent with platform rules, inconsistent with ad-network policies, or harmful to the Service or others.
8. Copyright and Takedown Notices
We respect intellectual property rights and may respond to notices of alleged infringement. If you believe material is being used through Vidnabber in a way that infringes your rights, contact us at support@vidnabber.com.
A useful notice should include your contact information, identification of the protected work, the URL or material at issue, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized, a statement that the information is accurate, and your physical or electronic signature. We may block URLs, restrict functionality, forward notices, request more information, or take other action at our discretion.
If your business requires formal DMCA safe-harbor coverage, you should maintain an appropriate designated agent and legal process for your operating jurisdiction.
9. Ads, Monetization, and Policy Compliance
Vidnabber may display ads, analytics, affiliate links, or sponsored placements. We may remove, restrict, or change content, pages, links, ad placements, or features to comply with advertising-network policies, platform policies, privacy requirements, security requirements, or applicable law. You must not attempt to manipulate ads, analytics, referrals, rankings, or service metrics.
10. Intellectual Property in Vidnabber
Vidnabber's site design, code, branding, text, user interface, layout, and original materials are owned by Vidnabber or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not give you ownership of Vidnabber or any third-party content. You receive only a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service as permitted by these Terms.
11. No Professional Advice
Vidnabber provides technical information and format detection only. Nothing on the site is legal, copyright, business, tax, or professional advice. If you are unsure whether you may access, download, copy, store, or use content, obtain permission from the rights holder or consult a qualified professional.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free results, continued support for any platform, availability of any file, particular quality, successful downloads, virus-free files, metadata accuracy, or compatibility with any browser or device. We are not responsible for third-party content, third-party sites, source-platform changes, user-submitted URLs, user misuse, removed content, unavailable files, or legal consequences arising from your use of media.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vidnabber and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, service providers, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, exemplary, or enhanced damages, or for loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, content, access, business opportunity, or reputation, arising from or related to the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Vidnabber and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, service providers, and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your submitted URLs, downloaded or accessed media, misuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, violation of third-party rights, violation of platform rules, or violation of applicable law.
15. Suspension or Termination
We may suspend, restrict, rate-limit, block, or terminate access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including suspected abuse, unlawful conduct, security risk, infringement risk, policy risk, operational need, or noncompliance with these Terms.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Some jurisdictions may provide rights that cannot be waived or limited. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
